This is version 1.4 of a report that aims to provide an overview of current thinking on how to counteract information influence activities. It was commissioned to support the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency’s (MSB) work in strengthening societal resilience against information influence activities. The report is intended to offer (1) a scientific overview to support the development of the MSB handbook Counter Influence Strategies for Communicators, (2) a guide and framework that can support the development of training and education on counter influence, and (3) a Swedish perspective on the knowledge currently available on information influence activities.
