As a result of two serious accident since 2002 during discharge of wood pellets from ocean vessels the EWDOT Research Project was initiated by the Wood Pellet Association of Canada and carried out onboard the vessel MV Saga Horizon during the period January 26 and March 17, 2007 by researchers in Canada and Sweden. The findings of the research are described in some detail in this Report.
