Governmental agencies in Sweden have a responsibility to reduce vulnerabilities in society and within their own area of responsibility. Part of it may involve collaborating with private businesses in order to secure the supply of goods and services. Therefore, the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) is carrying out a targeted initiative to enhance supply preparedness with a focus on increased collaboration with the private sector. Seven agencies are now working on different projects to strengthen their and Sweden’s supply preparedness by involving the business community in the planning process.
