MSB’s mission includes directing, commissioning and quality-assuring research, as well as communicating research results in order to prevent accidents and improve emergency pre-paredness and civil defence. The Research Agenda facili-tates the implementation of MSB’s research strategy with the intention of producing in-demand, necessary and useful knowledge. The objective is to strengthen the ability to use scientific knowledge, as well as contacts between research and implementation, to meet current and future challenges in civil protection and preparedness.
