In this publication the MSB presents the national plan for the handling of serious IT incidents, known as the National Response Plan. It should be used to support societal handling of major IT incidents. We reflect here, the key elements of the report that the MSB, on commission from the Government, produced in March 2011. The National Response Plan is provisional until it has been tested and revised in line with the results. By 2012 at the latest, the first exercise will have been completed.
