Tanken med den här broschyren är att tillhandahålla tips och rekommendationer för att starta upp ett systematiskt skadeförebyggande arbete steg för steg.  Texten bygger på skriften 'Visst kan skador förebyggas – att utforma en kommunal handlingsplan' och på erfarenheter från de av världshälsoorganisationen, WHO utnämnda Säkra och trygga kommunerna i Sverige. The idea behind this document is to provide advice and tips about how to set up systematic safety promotion work step by step. 'Of course injuries can be prevented – designing a municipal plan of action' is the premise on which the text is based. It is also based on observations from the WHO appointed Safe Communities in Sweden.
