This fire safety analysis of Superseacat One is a part of a larger report: ”Evaluation of the fire safety level in HSC – problems, improvements and future developments”. The aim of this analysis is to review the present fire safety level by using fire-engineering methods to determine consequences of a fire on board. Event trees have been used in order to determine the probabilities for the different outcomes. The existing safety level has been defined with acceptance criteria. Where the safety level is determined to be not acceptable it has been compared with a propossed improved safety standard in so called risk profiles.
