At threats, accidents and other dangers to people the need of an efficient public warning system has been emphasized in different levels. To meet the needs The Swedish National Rescue Services Board has developed the system Important Message To the Community. I.e. the alert signal and the following information is broadcasted to people in the RDS (Radio Data System) is used. This report specificates the technical needs to reach even hard of hearing and deafblind people within the frame of the basic warning system.
