This report discusses methods of determining and process probabilities. The concept of probability is used in many areas - in the study of natural tecnincal events as well as in characterizing human activities. In organizing and developing this report, more specific consideration has been given to carrying out safety studies and in particular safety studies on systems involving hazardous substances.
