A number of fundamental parameters are obtained in Cone Calorimeter tests, i. e. - time to ignition, - heat release rate, - specific smoke extinction area. Whilst the statistical basis was very small (3 or 4 laboratories) the repeatability and reproducibility have been compared for a number of key parameters, either derived or directly obtained in the Cone Calorimeter. It was found that - the "indicated precision" in the Nordic laboratories is of the same order of magnitude to the corresponding precision in the current ISO Round Robin. - the time to ignition is measured with an "indicated precision" which is comparable to the stated precision for the same type of materials tested in ISO 5657, or better. With regard to smoke measurements with the laser system the results obtained in 2 laboratories look fairly consistent. Data from more laboratories is however necessary to state the precision in a quantitative way.
