This Survey deals with accidents to aircraft registered in Sweden, that occured during the calender year 1970 and that were notified in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Aviation Regulations. The notification of an accident is compulsary when, between the time when any person boards an aircraft with the intention of flight and such time as all persons have disembarked therefrom; (1) any person suffers death or serious injury while in or upon the aircraft or by direct contact with the aircraft or anything attached thereto; or (2) the aircraft receives damages requiring repair before flight.
