The document describes the responsibility of the Swedish Rescue Services Agency with regard to research and development (R & D). In order to illustrate the needs for research and development that the SRSA has identified, the R & D field of activity if presented in comprehensive knowledge with respect to society's actions concerning protection against accidents, measures to prevent and limit damage/injury at accidents (fire, dangerous substances, miscellaneous accidents) and finally training.
