This is the third edition of this classic text on the effects of nuclear weapons prepared by the U.S. Departments of Defense and Energy. It provides an introduction to the basic principles of nuclear explosions and then examines each of the elements which cause damage individually. Most chapters are in two parts, with the first section written at a low technical level and the second section treating more technical and mathematical aspects.
