This report is a review of the accomplishments of a joint fire research effort between Harvard University and Factory Mutual Research Corporation. The summary applies to a ten year period 1972-1982. A catalogue of subjects is presented with a technical description of the work along with an annotated bibliography. The subjects include: spontaneous combustion, fire spread, vitiated combustion, radiation from flames, radiation scaling, vent flow, extinguishment, atmospheric modeling, pressure modeling, fullscale tests, and the computation of a fire.
